Cabo Fisterra and Frankfurt photos

Cabo Fisterra from the UK in 2010 was the first of our long cycle tours, though we had done quite a few short ones before that - around Denmark, a circuit of Switzerland, part of the Danube, a circuit of Brittany as well as a tour in the Outer Hebrides with our children, then aged 10 and 12. The first three of these shorter journeys were undertaken on a tandem - which is something I can't really recommend if you want to avoid divorce. I'm certainly much happier with my independence on a normal bike! Cabo Fisterra was an extension of the pilgrim route to Santiago. A route we cycled because it was there and was scenic and interesting. Certainly not from any religious motivation!! The Frankfurt journey followed in 2012 after a brief 2011 tour around the Luberon and ascent of Ventoux.
